Inculcating the habit of reading books in your child can be quite a difficult task, especially during a time when education itself has shifted to online platforms and tabs, laptops and mobile phones are way more common than books.
While most parents complain about the fact that their children are unable to concentrate or focus on their books and are more keen on spending time with their mobiles or tabs, very few of us actually go to the roots of this problem.
Swati Kheria, an educator and a storyteller by passion went deeper into this ever increasing problem and launched her new book ‘An ABC Safari’ for the little ones. A firm believer of the fact that ‘No one must be devoid of the magic of stories’, she wrote her first book ABC Safari, where she has added a fun and magical twist to the learning experience of the little ones. She promotes the idea that teaching or learning ABC must not be a chore for the parents or for the child so she added the magic of storytelling.
Her book is the first in the Little Readers Nook’s Mission Wow series of books promoting readiness readiness in children. It is interactive, fun and engaging, where she encourages the mother and her child to embark on a learning safari that is not boring. She even shares cues for the mother to help her child learn new things and that too in a fun and playful way.
She shares “Parents continue to look for innovative ways to teach their children ABC! Keeping this thought in mind I’ve attempted to make ABC learning exciting for them all the way.”
Through this book, she takes the children and their parents to a colourful joyride to learn and develop the habit of reading and listening or reading stories.
The book was launched on 9th February 2022, and is priced at Rs 299/- You can grab the book online or offline at Storyteller Bookstore and other shops as well.
